little bits today as I've got to sort out prep for fireworks tonight

    Brake master cylinder stopper

Made a new top hose out of the old pipe and another little bit I found in my box of bits and bobs

Loving the look of the bay, might have to get the loom tucked

Anyone got a spring clip for this, somehow it's dropped off whilst moving the car about and I can't find it

Matt, I've got half a dozen of those brake hose clips.

Drop me a text when you want to collect then pop round. I should be around this weekend.

I might even have the rubber grommet that seals that hole in the inner wing.

Ahh awesome cheers Jonny, let me know when you're at home and I'll pop round, I finish work at 2pm all this week so I'll be about, be good if you do have the rubber bung too, seemed to have misplaced mine

Should be available to rummage round the garage between 8 and 9 tonight if that works.

Drop me a text before you leave.

    Project CA, Pictures!

Cheers for the bits today Jonny, managed to get all the boring little bits done today so didn't really take pictures

Routed the left front brake Abs line, finally filled the braking system up with fluid (Dot 5.1) and I didn't have any leaks and she bled up first time *winning

Followed by a heated discussion with an MOT tester on my Facebook, since now I need a "bent" MOT for removing my abs, YOLO

Fitted the new oil cooler since I broke the last one, cut to length and replaced all the diff oil lines to the cooler and pump with braided ones, also replaced the rubber lines to the fuel pump with braided Teflon hoses

What a knob i removed my abs and have always used the same mot station where the guy is straight and honest (he'd never issue a "bent" mot.
All i get on my advisories is "abs hubs fitted to non-abs car" as i still have the sensors in the front hubs.

Exactly what I said mate but he weren't having it, even showed him this picture and he still wouldn't have it

They must of just wrote it in the MOT testers manual for the sheer hell of it

Proper penis, been a tester for four years apparently, must know everything

My tester on the other hand I used to work with, so I have no problems there

The strut top strengthening bracket has been flowed into the strut top so you have no bonnet support rubber on the turret top.

You have a boot strut (or similar) to hold the bonnet up and it looks like someone sprayed over the wiper motor nuts.

Also looks like there is a bit of rust that has been covered over on the front of the turret. That might just be the photo making something out of nothing though.
