So i'm helping my misses friend she put about £30 of petrol in her citroen 1.4 16v hdi diesel. It was driving but low on power so its had the tank and the lines drained and a new fuel filter( filled with clean diesel before fitting) so now i did the hand pump loads and loads but it will not start it just turns over and over not even trying to start. I have tried doing the pump again there seems to be no bleed valve except for a water outlet on the fuel filter. I have got 2 error codes that it will not delete I forgot to write them down but the first one was p0215 which relates to the fuel pump imv but a few posts on forums mention air can cause that? So I'm guessing its full of air and tbh when you squeeze the bulb pump its hard but you can hear like a air sucking.

So whats my best course of action easy start or is there a way of bleeding it?

I'm really not a diesel person nor a citroen person any help will be great.
