Clarkson, Hammond & May at JF!

Just thought I'd post up pics as I didn't believe it when a friend told me they were filming.. I turn around and Clarkson was stood behind me! I said hello, waved & asked how the mrs was

Couldn't find sxoc stand, great day none the less! I was indeed rocking the sxoc black and gold hoody so I expect to see my ugly mug on top gear soon :P

What was it for ? A RWD 70's "sporty car for the masses" feature ?

Is the green one at the back a Peugeot ?

I believe it was more of a "Let's **** up the jap boy's meet with some British/European car's" Yes May was in a Peugeot 304 S, Hammond was in the MG Sports and Clarkson was in the Fiat Convertible..

I think the MG n Fiat were a 1.8 whereas the Pug was a 1.3, Looked pretty funny out on track though

What are all the questions relating to the Mrs etc?

I thought their presence added to the event and was good fun, so not sure why the negativity towards them???

Andy, I can't see what bringing nonjap cars is going to do other than show how much better jap cars are and piss off the jap bigots. I just like old cars. I'd have had a damn good look around the Fiat if I'd been there.
I also think our cars should attend more general classic car shows because they don't seem to be considered classics yet which is sad. Everyone wants to mod them

I know they had been driving around couple days before japfest filming there challenge, as on the thursday or friday they drove down the A40 near my house. As James May broke down at the roundabout in Burford just down the round from my house.

I like me old cars, like any petrolhead does just mgb's don't float my boat,no idea why tbh just never liked them,
the Fiat and the pug would be more interesting as there quite rare, none of them are cars I'd ever buy though,
Agreed 200's should be seen as classic's more s12's and 13's at least
seems too many are bought as cheap skid cars and/or get broke for parts and the shell weighed in

Andy.. that last bit there... is a shameful truth.

Too many S bodies are turned into drift slags now a days. Makes me cherish mine lol.. low mileage and no rust... clean is my style.. ocd clean.

I guess I'm not into doing big skids.. I'll watch them all day long though lol

I didn't ask him lol, I didn't want my first encounter with a celebrity ( one I find rather amusing and actually like regardless of the general publics opinion on him ) - to be a negative one.
