    Liams s14a Re-shell and upgrade!

Well here in my project thread for my life with an s-body!

In March 2013 I travelled to Northern Ireland (600mile round trip) via bus/plane/ferry and s-body.

And here she is sat on the ferry looking very pretty!

So I fell in love with her and spent every hour cleaning and fixing all the niggly problems.

    New gear stick gaiter

    New tyres

    New UK legal plates

    Stopped the coil overs squeaking

    De wipered the rear

    Cleaned everything!

Went to a couple of the meets at Squires

Then the saxp north of England meet

Went to santa pod and put it on the rolling road

Pulled 330bhp with a faulty boost controller!

Then my inexperience and stupidity got the better or me and I put her in a field :'(

The crash which obviously destroyed the car also released lots of rust so the shell was a scrapper! So I went on the hunt of a new shell

After looking at numerous shells I found a full car for sale for cheap due to a leaky 4th piston ring So I bought SgtBash's car, as although slightly more expensive than a rolling shell it meant I had lots of spares and bits to sell to recoup some of the money.

The blue nissan has been stored at my cousins unit and I have extended the garage so I can do the swap at home.

And that is as far as I have got!

I have started selling some of the unneeded parts and will have a full for sale thread in next couple of month

Sorry to see that mate :/ my inexperience also resulted in me hitting a lamp post, but my shell is somewhat repairable

such a shame as it looked really clean on the outside, but was hiding lots of rust, the front chassis rail is not attached to the inner arch what so ever!

Yeah it was my first s-body so didn't check it as thoroughly as I would knowing what I do now, the new one however is very very clean

Yeah, the new one will be getting sprayed as paintwork is faded and has been keyed in its past life. Still not sure on final colour but will be blue
