    DB-Power Closing Down

    Hi All

It is with some regret that we are announcing that DB-Power will be shutting down permanently over the next couple of weeks.

Sadly running an internet business is not what it used to be We are having to deal more and more on ebay, and sadly that's just demoralising not to mention soul destroying. Also Ebay/Paypal eat away at any profit we should make with their fees, so we are burning our buns for very little in return.

We are still going to be running a car business but we will be solely working on cars, and supplying peeps on here with any parts that they should need. We will still be doing any replacement parts that should be needed and will still dabble with a few items.

On a plus note I would like to announce the launch of our new company TDC Garage Services Ltd.

We will be offering all types of mechanical work, we are carrying out a major overhaul of our unit and fitting a new ultra clean and dust free engine building room. I will start a project thread on the development. Also we will soon be able to offer a aluminium welding service

So if you need any mechanical work done just drop us a shout

As such we are going to be clearing our unit of many many brake parts, car parts etc so please keep an eye out for some bargains

    Dan

Sad to hear that dan, but happy to hear your staying around. Awesome chap to deal with and lovely to have a chat with on the phone

Will you still be doing brake lines and discs, calipers etc? Still been meaning to order some 370z discs.

A sort of "The King is dead, long live the King" type of scenario then. Only bought a few bits from you like your Big Brake kit over the last few years, but did appreciate the time you sorted an oil leak whilst I waited, back in the days when I lived in Watford.

Best of luck & success with TDC Garage Services Ltd.

Sorry to hear that dan. If its anything like it is around by me if you offer decent mot welding and can get a some contacts in other garages that don't weld you can make a fair few quid.

    Cheers for the kind words

We will still be doing brakes, but solely trading on here. The mechanics is going to take priority and mail order can be done as and when needed by you guys

that's unfortunate. I have bought many items from you and have never had any problems at all and great experience all round...hope you are very successful with your new venture.

you thinking of specialising in a single marque or you gonna try building all sorts of engines and such?

Sorry to hear this but good luck with the garage side of things!

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

Unfortunately e-Bay and Paypal has a monopoly and is killing the market for most things these days. Its a nightmare to sell on there, perfect for buying though! The fees are insane
