    Looks good out sliding Conor

If you could you should keep the trial bumper too. You can give the 15 a fresh look every so often with just a couple of bolts

haha cheers dude, were you there yesterday?

I'll keep the bumper alright but I'll have no intention of putting it back on once it's off. It needs to be patched up and painted etc.

    Exhibit A

Ah nice one, it was a savage day alright. Was gonna stick to the grip sessions and go easy, until I accidentally ended up on track in a drift session and just went '**** it'

Was really getting into it by the end of the day. Need to learn how to use that handbrake though

I saw that alright, they stand out quite a bit with no number plate! The standard ones were pretty timid so anything had to have been an improvement

lol, they're fairly standing out there alright. Only took off the plate for the track. Must put it back on actually, could do without being stopped by the 5-0.

Few pics to keep the thread moving

Welded diff before it went in

Diff going in - left the pro's at it

Queuing up for my first time on track

Won an iPad a few months back. Dead handy for setting up the GoPro and checking the videos out afterwards. Connects over WiFi, lets you frame the shot properly and watch the videos on the fly...

    SXOC keyring FTW

I forgot I had this thread, cheers

It's been in the garage about 3 weeks now so I'm eager to get it back and find out exactly what got done.

It should be an SR with a HKS GT-SS turbo and FMIC. Exedy clutch, same gearbox, walbro pump etc.

Haven't logged in here in ages, and I'm bored for lunch at work, so here's an update

Since the last update I finally got the N/A SR swapped out for a DET. It took months to get back from the garage. Mostly because I always make the mistake of telling mechanics to take their time...

Anyways it's been great fun since I swapped it, and we drove across the UK afterwards for the SXOC weekender in Snetterton, which was awesome as always

After that I went and stuck GTR-D's on the front...

For a bit of poke and dish.

Pity about the ride height, but the Driftworks/HSD CS2's are way beyond adjustable anymore

and then it was time to plan some well overdue paint/restoration work...

    ...very badly needed ...

6 years of all year round driving in Ireland is harsh on a car.

    Filly filly...

    Weldy weldy...

    Silly silly...

It had failed the NCT on the sills, so it was time to bite the bullet.

    Thanks

It made sense to get the arches flared while everything else was going on...

I'm not a big fan of wide overfenders. Would much prefer to keep the stock 15 lines and modify them slightly to work with a bit of poke.

Nice thick black undersealer should help hold it together for a while

This Snapchat from the guy who did the work was the first time I found out that my rear bumper was actually made of two parts. I had already asked him to paint the underneath of it black. It was convenient that it turned out to be a separate section.

    Primer time

It was great getting these snapchats throughout the process

But it was a long process. The car was gone for a couple of months.

But a lot of work went into it, so it was worth it
