Wow. Whole front end strip down! impressive! Atleast you can forget about surface rust!
I'd only picked the colour from a book, so hadn't a clue how it would turn out. Had a rough idea of what I wanted...
They went in around the bay, but didn't lift the engine. So the firewall wasn't touched, but the rust around the struts and things was all sorted

Time to put her back together
I'd check the dudes Snapchat story every now and again and there'd be updates. Had to screenshot them all
I'd picked up some Vertex skirts during the summer, so they went on instead of the old Trial ones. I much prefer the simple lines they have. Trial kit was a bit mental.
I do like its rear bumper though. It was rare enough already before I got it two-toned

Still had no idea what my front bumper would look like. It's always been black since I picked it up and stuck it on the car to replace the original Trial one...

The work was done bit by bit on this in between bigger jobs that the dude was doing. His main line of work was trucks and tanker trailers. Poor Silvia did a lot of sitting around...
And then finally she was (nearly) finished
So the next step was to go and collect it, and get her down to Galway for a weekend to get new BC coilovers into her
So once they settle in I'll sort out the huge wheel gap and take some proper photos. I only got her back last weekend
Next on the list is get new pipe in from cat to backbox this weekend and attempt the NCT next week

Next on the list after an NCT, is to get AFM, injectors and pump upgraded, and ask Stiv to map it

Update: Failed NCT on Lambda reading. Running lean @ 1.07. New sensor arrived today, so we'll see how that goes. Ordered Nismo 555's and an RB25 AFM with an Apexi filter too while I was at it...
Other fails were my licence plates, my steering wheel not having an engineers report, and apparently my steering linkage is leakin...
Passed the NCT before Xmas.
Finally.
Took a few shnaps last week too. Still need to lower her but you get the idea
