S13 d1 front bumper fitment issue

Hello I recently bought this bumper
And when I offered it up it was too big in some places and way too small in others

Do you have any tips on sorting this
Have spoken to my local drifter body shop and he thinks it won't have enough flex to fit properly and will need a lot of work

    Any help would be appreciated

    Cheers

Looks to fit as well as my S14a kit. Fibreglass shouldn't need to flex at all to fit, (as that's what causes stress cracks), it should be offered up and bolt on.

There is only one way to make that fit, I'm doing it to mine but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone without good fibreglass experience and plenty of patience.

Hi, yes if you could get in touch that would be great.
make sure the bumper is left in a warm place for a few days so you can flex it without cracking (all our bumpers are fully flexible when warm as they have a flex additive)
firstly unbolt your wings at the front so that they can move around the front area
second thing to do is bolt the top of the bumper in place of where it should fit. (just the bolt places in between the headlights, two bolts will be enough for now)
with this bolted you can now bolt either side of the wings to the bumper

    this process should solve everything

when fitting front bumpers always bolt the central position down first, this ensures that either side is even

any more problems the quickest way is to call/ email us direct as we do not monitor the forums religiously.

    thanks
