Beautiful build! I think another thing that would have help'd is black mesh instead of silver in front bumper and front fenders..
Interesting suggestion about the mesh - not sure which would be best tbh. I could always get it painted black. I am not convinced about the rear view mirror - too short really. but didn't like the look of standard black plastic ones. The chromed one does look like ones put on older classics - MGs and kit cars for eg.

Good to meet you today bud.
Cars looking very well paints good.
Still think it needs skirts and a proper hatch though lol
Yes Tony. Need to sort rear view mirror and stereo speaker enclosure (aka boot).
The lack of side skirts is a niggling issue with me. I like the car to look lower which side skirts help with, but they also fatten up the car from the side. Part of the nice shape of the S13s is the long sleek body. Given that I have front and rear kit, you might think side skirts are a no-brainer, and I did in fact buy them. But I think the car looks fine with out them, and possibly even better. It's only when you notice they aren't there that you wonder of they should be. That front and rear bumpers go a bit lower than the sides perhaps isn't aesthetically ideal and I did initially consider getting them cutting a little higher from their lowest points (perhaps sacrilege? for many). I feel like I am in a bit of a no-win situation where each choice is an uncomfortable compromise.
Perhaps it would be good for me to see other member's cars which have full the kit on and then I can decide which way to go. I do think though that the average person in the street would hardly notice the absence of side skirts since they are not on most cars.
Maybe the fairly subtle OEM skirts?
Yes it's a much harder ride given 18 inch alloys and coilovers, but is nice and low. Also exhaust is very loud (in-car) when revving past idle. Think boot enclosure will lessen this a fair bit.
Headunit was bought 2nd hand many years ago for only £100 (bargain on it's new original price since it was a flagship model) but I never got round to installing it. Probably will be replaced at some point but I like the relatively simple design and am not into all the new technologies like mp3s etc. My amp is also old but was very good at the time - hopefully like classic hi-fi it has many years ahead of good use.
It gets a few heads turning the car, that's for sure. Feels lovely to drive - ready to be thrashed.
Those look good - the ones I bought are reasonably subtle and might be ok. The more I look at the pics now the more I think I do need some skirts. The height issue wrt bumpers is one thing, but also stock sides look too straight. I do like those in that photo -thanks for posting Ben.
An advantage of skirts I just thought of is that they make the windows look smaller in proportion -and therefore more sleek/sporty.
Looks like I may go with skirts after all.
