UK engine into jap shell (and loom)

Hey, I am soon to acquire an import shell (14) with its jap loom to re-shell my 14a. Is there much difference in the wiring? I will be using UK ECU.

Or is it better to use UK loom?

Sorry if it's a stupid question, done many Hondas engine swaps but this will be my first 200!

One thing I know for definite is to use the UK engine loom with the UK ecu. The JDM ecu plug and edu have a few pins different. Easily doable, but saves yourself an extra job

If your car has a stock ecu.

And the other car still has the s14 engine loom in it.

Just use a s14 ecu. Uk works fine. I got one 40quid posted. Saves lots if hassle and ballache.. !

I swapped a UK engine into my import using the jap ecu and loom. All S14!
