    American muscle in uk.

So I'm bored with c classes, 3 series and the usual stuff whilst flicking through ebay came across chargers( not a ford man before everyone screems mustang).

I know there are a few American car fans on here.

Now all dodges are imports so is getting parts hard?

Anyother problems other than mpg owning a dodge in the uk?

    Something like this: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/vie...d=271311997405

main thing to consider is you have all that power, and hardly any vision to overtake in a LHD car! and parking gates etc are a pain.
    Nice looking car that though!

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

The only way to limit fuel costs is either low use or LPG.

That's awesome - grow a goatee, shave your head and pretend you're Walter White

If that was parked on the drive I would only be able to reply this in my head every time I walked past:

I was going to say, if you've got that money and want muscle, get Walt's car, the 300C. You can get it in RHD and warrantied by UK dealers.

Lhd isn't too bad for overtaking, but Dartford tolls used to be a faff

The Mustang I hired a few years ago was better on fuel than my MX5.

American auto boxes are terrible though. I think you would want to run over your head after about a week if you actually had to live with one.

I asked a guy I knew who moved to the states with work. He started with a old shspe eclass then a mustang 6 months after that for a charger and 4 months after the new shape E63.

I also read you can not fit them into a normal uk parking space.

its a shame as they look so good and its nice to be different.

In fairness, you can't fit an Astra into a normal UK space anymore

It strikes me that a yank isn't the car for you. Parking them isn't that hard to be honest. Many cars are quite big to be fair regardless if they're American or not and an E63 is a good example of a large car so you'd have the same issues with them too. An X6 is wider than my car and most people think my car is big.

If you get hung up on these misconceptions, you're best to buy a Ford Focus 1.6. Or live a little ;-)

They also don't drive shit. Only people who think that are those that believe Clarkson when he tripes up a load of crap like Corvettes having leaf springs like a silvercross pram.

I had this recently. An SRT-10, 510bhp, 6 speed manual. Fantastic quiet drive, lots of grunt. Fuel economy can be ok on a drive. Indicated at 18 on the motorway, which is 21.5mpg in UK gallon sizing. The overdriven gears mean it's doing about 1,500rpm at 70mph. Handled well for a truck too.

I just want to look at something different had a new c class and new e class they are so bland and boring. I already got a 5.0 v10 and a 3.6 v6 so I would go for a v6 charger rather than the v8 but have agressive look on yhe outside.

I'm not too bothered about patking as I very rarely leave cars in parking lots

    A nice 2013 charger landed for 27k

I've recently started using a '92 GMC Suburban as my daily, so far I haven't had any issues other than having to think about where I'm going to park, but it turns out I've found places that are cheaper than where I would have parked in my Volvo.

Economy is my only issue, but I seem to have a particularly thirsty American!

Oh and parts are really easy to find, there are loads of parts suppliers which stock many parts and pretty much any non stock part can be got within a week from the US.
