    Primera SR20DE VT6 CVT Auto Transmission Fluid

    Car is me ol mans Primera VT6 with a SR20DE, with a 6 speed triptronic box.

    There was an issue with the gears on the Primera seemed to be jamming on a single gear. I changed transmission fluid for new using Dexron III fluid.

    Seemed to improve, but still occuring.

    So was advised that I should change the transmission filter. Have the part number so this is on the cards, however plan was to change the fluid again. I have seen CVT specific transmission fluid. i.e.

    http://www.valvoline.com.au/explore-...ower-cvt-fluid

    I currently have 5 ltrs of Dextron III based fluid;

    However reading on the Primera forums, a Nissan only fluid should be used? Anyone aware if this is required?

    Not had much joy on the primera forums, so thought would try on here

    Many Thanks

    Thanks buddy, I have seen that thread, but failed to find the Comma fluid, and my local motor factors gave me the fluid I have linked stating that was the one.

    But Nissan fluid at £15 a ltr was a bit much i thought. Seeing I needed 8 ltrs, well was told it was 7 by my LMF, Mind the comma is £10 ltr, so still a saving.

    Nice one buddy, already looked up the Comma on the bay, lol. Added to my watch list at £10.10.

    The Vavoline also works out cheaper on the bay, but the Comma being fully synthetic vs a blend that is Vavoline? Might be worth the extra pennies?
