Hmm i go onto youtube for 20 mins and when i return from the land of cat videos and fail movies i find this all over facebook, twitter, bbc news ect.

Damn I was in internet seeking for news about him since I remember him being unhealthy not long ago, then 20 minutes later the news of his death appeared... It's unbelievable, you wonder how he's doing and few minutes later he's gone. He was a true hero, there are almost no people like him now, doing what he did.

The greatest human to have ever lived imho. Who else can spend 27yrs incorrectly incarcerated and smile on release and still see the best in the worst people/situations

Hmm, seems quite a few have forgotten some of the things he did and the reason he went to prison in the first place.

Or the state of South Africa since apartheid with genocide and murder/rape being day to day and a couple of my good friends over here have had to flee leaving the places they grew up for fear of a group with machetes taking there land overnight with violence. They don't hold Mandela in such esteem.
