they are huge ! ... will you need smaller ramps to get the car up on to those .... or are you not silly lowered
going to extend the incline right out also make it so i can fix them together and be able to jack a wheel up. 4 bottle jacks on some plates should do the job
I'm not a big fan make sure your careful with them and bolt them to the floor.
I sold mine and got a 2 poster ramp which I'm much happier with.
Was thinking of buying a 2 poster but where I store my cars there thinking about building a house to May have to up sticks
They look terrifyingly flimsy. I'm sure they are up to the job but I don't think I would fancy using them. What weight are they rated to?
just got them off the wagon took 3 men to move. came in 3 sections 3 men each… plate says 4.5ton
I would be tempted to make some cross bars to tie them together, they look pretty tall for a narrow base...
but that's probably me just being paranoid
**** that. I get nervous enough just driving onto normal size ramps in case I cocked up lining them up or I go off the end
They look a really awkward height to work on, too high for laying and too low for crouching.
How come you just didn't dig a pit?
Or get a 2 poster for your garden! They are awesome!
I didn't realise it was possible to have a 2 poster ramp out doors lol.
Under my carport there is a drain running through so to dig a pit would risk hitting it .. Still going to dig about 3ft down so I can stand whilst under the ramps.
keep seeing the 2 post picture. Currently moving house (slowly) and am thinking of getting a 2 post lift but did not think of having it outside. how long have you had it? do you need to cover it? how do you maintain it?
oh and op those big ramps look kinda good. i two would add some supports between and the pit is a good call. good luck
Nah the ramps cool outside, doesn't get covered up of owt.
Haha no worries dude, if you ever find yourself with erection problems I can always send you a video of me motoring the ramp up and down in the rain....
