Right.. Other side is now completed just got to seal it up.

Managed to acctually get some 'decent' welds to say it's a cheap welder and I'm far from a welder lol

    Underside of arch

Also been distracted most of today with another side project. Same friend with stage 3 s14 decided at Christmas to buy some new wheel, which required much wider arches so today was further proof that with limited knowledge and experience and the age old blokes moto of 'ahh **** it, it'll be rate' we took an angle grinder to a fairly clean shell here's how that went

His new wheels are gorgeous to be honest though, worth the effort.

Started me looking for wheel for mine, feeling these rota mxr's it white with chrome lip.

But might be a while yet before I need them lol

Been a while again but been back on it with this again, seems to go in fits and starts the motivation for this car The stalling point this time was her indoors wanted a wedding so that was that not moved on much to look at but its took some effort. I've painted the engine bay finally, took about 4-5 coats of paint to cover the grey primer. Then banged about 3-4 coats of lacquer to try and make it look presentable. Not the best of jobs but i've got a time line to get car out the garage its in and upto my garage so just got it done

I then realised i'd not undersealed drives front arch after painting bay so ive masked the crap out of it and hope its not gonna seep through I've also sprayed the brake servo cos i couldn't bring myself to put a rust faded servo back in a freshly painted bay

Next jobs are get both subframes blasted and powder coated, so anyone know anyone good in chesterfield area let me know. Then its good to move and when its in my garage jobs are run all new brake lines in copper, and i want to run a swirl pot in boot with and external pump with ptfe braided lines running through car so any advice on routes, sizes and lengths i'll roughly need would be much appreciated. I've got a sheet of ali aswell to make a firewall to seal boot off.

Here's a few pictures of the bay now

Seeing as photobucket has died thought I’d bang some images up of the car as it sits now as it’s abit further on aswell. Slowly but surely 🙈😂

Hoping forums haven’t died off too much with facecrap etc as up to yet I’m struggling to get any info on the next big job. Stripping the loom down and removing abs, ac and anything else I don’t need. Then relocating the fusebox to behind glove box. The relocation is fairly simple just mark cut and extend,it’s removing bits I’m struggling with. Anyway cheers for looking might have some more in another 6 months 😂
