    Aluminium honey comb water cutting

    Hi,

I would like to make a flat floor (undertray) for the front section (engine bay).

I would like to use water cut aluminium honey comb sandwich pannels for doing that.

Does anyone know companies doing water cutting for private customers?

Does anyone know, how expensive such cutting could get?

What kind of thickness would be appropriate?

The size would be around 1.6x1.6 I guess. The exact measurments still needs to be taken.

I dont thinks I need inserts, as it makes building a lot more complicated. I would just stick with all honeycomb sandwich and use some large spacer.

Which company did you use at your university?
