    Forum problems since renewing membership

    Hello

Since renewing my membership I've been having a few issues with the forum. If I try to post a quick reply it comes up 'Database Error' but when I've refreshed the page it shows my post...Or if I click submit again it then gives me the 30 seconds between post rule error.

However, when I check my subscribed threads the post I've made doesn't appear in there - it's still on the thread in question, but it's not hitting my subscriptions.

Then, even weirder - this happens:

It's giving me the little tag on the left hand side to say I've posted, but the number of replies / last posting person isn't updating.

Is this just me, or is the whole thing borked?

    Cheers

Its all borked. Same is happening to me, mate.

The site has been getting flakier and flakier for the last couple of months since it got hacked.

We still haven't got the alternative skins back from when it was hacked.

A lot of that is due to people having real world problems to sort which take priority

The forum is currently borked as mentioned though

Same here, threads don't seem to be refreshing, or updating when new posts are put up.

I was looking for somewhere to post about the recent outage and subsequent problems and thought this might be better than starting a new thread...

I know there were problems over the weekend with the site being down. I'm guessing due to another security loophole being exploited but since we have been back, I've noticed its not possible to edit posts using the advanced option and its not possible to edit your signature as the mark-up does not appear in the edit window.

I think you can retype everything but if you just want to correct a little bit of it, that's a very big pain.

The Preview shows the existing sig. in WYSIWYG form but the edit window is lacking the mark-up.

Could someone take a look ?

EDIT: Maybe editing posts is OK now. It seems a bit hit and miss. The sigs. are still borked though.

Chrome. Have you tried editing your sig ?

Ah. You don't have a sig

Try editing one then changing it.

Aye. Use browse to get the sub-forum you need then the pen at the top right starts a new thread.
