    RB25 battery relocation fuse AMP

    Hi mates,

Planning on moving the battery to the boot. Will run some BMW M5 standard battery cables and thinking about planting a fuse just to be safe.
Does anybody know what should I be getting for the RB25DET? 300 AMP fuse good enough?

It needs a fuse, foolish not to

I use to have a 250amp mega fuse from Vechicle wiring products. Only reason I don't have it anymore is that the battery is now back in the engine bay

Was that on SR20? Do I need more AMPS for RB25?

It'd be fine Need to size the fuse to the cable though as you don't want the fuse to allow more current that the cable can take

I think it is E60 M5 cable with that stupid exploding terminal that I should probably get rid of.
Looks pretty thick, 0ish gauge I reckon - so yeah 250 AMPS should do.
