Why not just use the correct bolt and tensile with a washer?

**** using unrated bolts if it's on the car.

    M10 is usually 16mm head I think.

I know it's not on the road but I wouldn't use it unless it's on something pointless.

If they dont know the grade then they will be common garden bolts and probably made from chinese steel

Not sure if we will have M10 fine here but will go raid the stores

This. Almost every non OEM bolt I've used in M10 is 16mm head.
Spa Fasteners in Leamington Spa will most likely be able to help you if you just use a bolt and washer. They'll also likely tell you that the reason that the Japanese use flange bolts is because they are too stupid to remember to put a washer on...

What is it for? Most 8.8 stuff is 8.8 for a reason... I'm guessing suspension? Bugger using ungraded slag bolts on that.

i bought a bunch of bolts off them when i binned off the ecentric adjuster bolts on my car.

took over 2 weeks to come and i didn't get any responses to the emails i sent chasing it up.

i ordered at a holiday time though so the place was probably closed for a while, bolts are good quality though and one of the only places i could find that does metric fine in stainless and a range of sizes.
