Oh yeah you was going for that glitter pink with rainbow pin stripes.
Oh yeah you was going for that glitter pink with rainbow pin stripes.
Haha. How did you know
What's your plan for the wiring looms?
Iv stripped it all out that I don't need, now Iv removed heaters aswell so there's loads more I can strip out at a later date, prob when I fit a carbon dash. When It comes to that there won't be much left so il prob just make a custom loom instead of pratting about anymore
I've ripped the lot out and making a custom loom. I'm just worried about what I need for an mot.
I'm probably going for aftermarket indicator stalks and just have everything else switched on the dash, washers, lights, fuel pump etc. I was going for a ps front end to make the wiring easier but I'm sticking with the pop ups now........maybe just leave them up when needed.
Just put everything on dash. Indicators, wipers the lot.
Just a toggle switch. They don't have to be on the stalk. My mate had Westfield and the indicators were a toggle switch on the dash
Cool. Cheers for that
No worries. When I change dash il be doing same thing, there won't be much in there
At last I managed to get back in the garage today.
I picked up my carbon fibre splitter yesterday so cracked on today getting it mounted up. Don't look at the shape of the leading edge too much it's going to be re shaped as it doesn't match the bumper properly
I need to cut the bottom edge of the bumper now to sit it flat with the splitter
It quite happily takes my 16st stood on the front edge and doesn't move a millimeter. The underside is profiled to aid the airflow and downforce.
I also extended the track rods as there wasn't much thread in the ends after I extended the bottom arms so I added a section in the track rods and sleeved them.
Tomorrow I'm going to get the brake ducting sorted and the bumper cut.
Splitter Looks Great!!
Cheers chrispy. Is really light and strong as hell
Is it DIY or a brought item? Looks very nice.
It's from rt-Autobodies like the rest of the panels. It's one he made for a different car but never got fitted, so we decided to put it on mine and just reshape it to suit.
Are you going to be running a full flat floor? I have to say I love your car. I'm building a grip s14 myself, rather slower than you though, and good to see something a bit different.
I'm just wanting to get it out now to be honest so getting the splitter and rear wing sorted then time to have some fun. I aim for a flat floor and rear diffuser in the not too distant future but for now I just need to get out and enjoy the car
I know what mean, I haven't driven mine for 3years now.
I bought this as a bare shell so iv not driven it on the road at all yet, haha, it's taken just over 2.5years on and off been cramped in my single garage so I just want to get it out and stretch it's legs. Did you take yours off the road to work on it
