And look, it's been built in a tiny garage Ffs, it's not going out to destroy race teams, it's been built to go drive hard at track and have fun things will be changed to suit as and when I feel they are not doing there job right or could be made better. Im going with the principle of aero and air flow rather than reading the book and sticking to it. Iv got better things to do than sit around studying books.
Thats a bit of an odd reply as to me piman is offering constructive information which saves you studying books, love how your build is gong so far though ad it will be nice to see more properly track focused s-bodys out this year !!

I'm not denying he is offering constructive info and like I said I'm not disagreeing with what he is saying. All I'm saying is it's not going to effect things to the point of ruining the aero. Iv got 1 mate who studied aero and 1 mate who has a race team and races in the genetta race series and neither of these guys can see a fundamental problem with the vents, and like I said it's the manufacturer that advised that was the best place for the vents to do there job properly that's all. I'm loving the response the car is getting and it's good to know my hard work is paying off thanks guts

If you had fitted them to the rear screen exactly how they would have been fitted for an inlet, but rotated 180 degrees so they were 'pointing' backwards, you would get a much better draw of air and less disturbance to your rear screen flow.

Maintain it's still a great looking car, I was just adding something to help.

Totally agree with you there and that is how I thought they were going to be.

I thought they do work as outlets but in the style of the bonnet of a Ford gt40.

Looking superb so far - Hope the rest of the build goes as well mate, I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see the final result. Should be bad-ass!

I'm doing a similar setup on the rear of my S13 too with big-ish diffuser to come and central exhaust so it'll be cool to see how effective your setup is too.

Nice job and a great-looking car mate.

Cheers nize glad you like it. Stage one is nearly complete. I'm getting it in colour and getting it out and used before it gets stripped down nxt winter for stage two. The rear diffuser will be part of stage two

Small update of things. I've changed phones and not got all photos of what's been done but got a few on this phone.
I got the wing mounts sorted, got them laser cut over sized so they can be cut down to size if needs be
Ignore the plank of wood it's just to give me an idea, just waiting on the carbon wing to be made.
Also purchased some new BC racing forged split rims

Which were split down and sent to powder coat, never again

Got them back and built up
Got them on car but pics don't do them justice, I love them on the car

    Any updates?

We are seriously lacking updates on a lot the decent grip car projects. Blacktooth and Piman are the only ones at the moment.

    Update:

Rich has tried to have a bbq and ran out of gas. S14 seems a reasonable substitute
