    Liam's S15 Spec-R Build

    Hi all

    Im Liam, 21 from West Sussex. Ive come here for some inspiration/what do you think/what could i do better suggestions with my build

    Just thought i'd throw up a quick build thread as i've just bought an S15 and started doing a few bits and have alot more plans for it in the future, hope you all dont mind

    Basic Car

    2002 S15 Spec-R Aero (L Package)
    KH3 --- Super Black
    79,000 miles
    Fresh Import from Torque GT
    Very Clean (No Rust)

    Mods
    HKS Cone filter
    Spitfire Coilpacks
    Spitfire Earthing Kit
    Blitz Nur SpecR 3" Catback
    Staggered 17" Volk GT-C Alloy Wheels (Fronts 8J, Rears are 9J. Havent looked at the offsets yet)

    Gave the car its first service the weekend before last, so i get some UK history going & ready for the Japshow yesterday. While i was there i bought a new toy

    Missed out on some coilovers on here which were dirt cheap (pretty pissed )

    Short term plans are, Coilovers & Stage 1a (i think) Elbow, Downpipe, Decat, Frount Mount, Walbro 255 FP. New front lights, Non L Package (black). Just want a safe 300hp+.

    Very tidy. Scrolling through the pics, I was just about to suggest that DMAX lights would really suit it

    i would do : DMAX lights like you mentioned, coilies and a nice drop, spec-R rear spoiler and maybe some different wheels

    really clean car dude...keep her that way

    Thanks Mr Nismo, It's having its first Paint Correction treatment on saturday. Does need a good wheel to get the swirls out!

    Again thank you for the kind welcomes I really am not a fan of the stock rears either so had to get rid, will have a go at fitting them tonight

    In used to a rather low civic, so having a car at this height is rather annoying I'm not a fan of the Spec-R spoiler (thats why i bought one without), gonna go for a DMAX rear boot lip spoiler and roof spoiler i think!

    Wow they look to have done a great job on that :O The car was underseald by Torque GT before i picked it up

    I agree, they look much better either de-spoilered, or with a subtle lip.

    Clear side repeaters
    Remove rear wiper
    Some sort of lip spoiler on the boot and maybe roof spoiler
    Paint the inside of your head lights black

    Just a few things I'd consider doing

    As i said above in my plans: DMAX rear li & roof spoiler, coilovers and Non L Package Headlights (Black backing) are on the cards

    My insurance dropped massively when i was 19/20. My old Civic Jordan was £1200 a year.
