    CA oil pressure?

Has anybody got an oil pressure gauge in their car? What readings do you get idling cold and idling warm? Not sure if my cheaply gauge has gone faulty already...

roughly 4 bar when cold, and 1.5 to 2 bar when warm/hot.

I had around 2.0 bar iirc but that was a new oil pump. So as above around 1.5 would be expected on an older engine.

also take into account oil viscosity as thicker oil will create more pressure when cold etc

Cool thanks guys. I'm hoping its just a faulty gauge and not a sticky relief valve! :-/
