Possible scammer alert to other vendors out there!

We recently had a customer contact us regarding to purchase one of our turbo kits. After we sent the turbo kit to him, 2 days later he filed a claim with his credit card company saying he did not authorize the charge! Just wanted to give a heads up to the other vendors out there to beware of this character!

Did you send it to an address in North London ?

He sounds like a Latvian living in North London running a company called Brittania Apparel.

If you sent it to him personally at an address he is registered at, you could make attempts to get him to send it back.

If we find he is trying to sell it on here, we could collect it and send it to you without paying him for it

Was it 2 days after making the order and it being sent out? or 2 days after it arrived at the address on the order?
the later stinks of scam tbh (as in got the stuff then reclaim it on the card),
if its 2 days after the order and I guess was still in transit then?,it could be the card was lost/stolen or card details hacked?

I didn't post up the details because...

    a) it might not be the same fella.
    b) He might have had his card hacked, hence my question about where the tubbie kit was delivered to.

Easy and free to find information online. 5 seconds of google button bashing.

If I'm right anyway the address was different. I believe it was sent to somewhere in Charlton. (Going by other information)

The credit card claim was made 2 days after he had received the item. We have sent a few emails since then to him and no replies.

He made the purchase through Paypal. We shipped to the address he provided that was CONFIRMED and the account was verified. We checked the tracking # and the same name signed for it, but that really doesnt mean much.

Just be on the lookout for anyone recently installing or selling a full Mazworx SS series SR20DET topmount turbo kit for a S14.

I'm sure your on it already but if you call you feds and get them to give you a crime number(or what ever odd name it is in the states) then you can give it to paypals fraud department and hopefully get your cash back.

Paypal ought to ask him to provide a crime number to show his card was compromised before issuing the refund IMO.

Traders shouldn't have to take this any more than private sellers and it spoils it for the rest of us honest folk out there.

This is why so many traders are moving on to amazon and giving a bit of discount for card or cash payments

Everyone should boycott PayPal, their policies are as ridiculous as their fees.
