    Brake master cylinder

I have skyline gtst front breaks and z32 rear’s and they are good but i feel the break peddle is a bit spongy

Would his be due to the original brake master cylinder. What brake master should i be running

    A bn50 from a s14
    Or a bn57 from a z32

i have a db power abs removal kit on the car so dont know if that makes a difference

pretty sure the s14 has a bm50 on it to would one of those work then i wouldn’t need to pay skyline tax

try bleading your breaks again. the s13 bmc should work pretty good with that setup

I have ran that setup with both the z32 and s14 master cyllinder and both will work no worries, the z32 has a nicer feel too it although you have to press the pedal a bit harder. The s13 master cyllinder should work though, and if its just spongyness you will just need to bleed it more i would think.

    I have this problem also.

And now I have bought Wilwood 345mm brakes so can only see my pedal feeling worse (hydraulic handbrake and z32 rear brakes aswell)

I have looked into the Z32 BMC but there is so many variations I gave up.

I think its a BM57 you want, saying that Sidewaysfun is running willwoos 345's and z32 rears on a stock master cyllinder and loves the pedal feel, i would re bleed them mate, it could also be poor master cyllinder seals.

I changed to a non ABS S13 mastercylinder and lines, tbh wasnt very happy with my hard lines for the hydro so going to change to braided lines, replace all hard pipes from the cylinder with braided lines and give them a re-bleed.

Ok mate, well keep updated, can you bleed the non abs one from the master cyllinder as well as the wheels? if so this may be where your issue is.

Not sure how I would go about doing that, is there a bleed nipple on the MC? I will check
