Jonny's advice and this cover it - needs more photos of the structural bits to make a really accurate judgement.

Good stuff mate, as i said before pop some pics up of the sills, inner arches and turret tops this will show its condition rust wise but its worth the price being asked for it all day long if its good. im tempted myself to be honest

There is a manual 25K mint one owner kept in garage just sold for over £3K on ebay.

Maybe ebay is a better option than on here

I think you still need to put the pictures up that people are asking for.

Put it this way, if I was after one I wouldn't be traveling 200 miles with £3k in my pocket based on those and the fact that you haven't in the 4 months that have elapsed would definitely put me off even considering it.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, maybe you're not that committed to selling. Good luck anyway.

They did post a link to the pics but it's buried on the first page: http://s1284.photobucket.com/user/ti...?sort=3&page=1

Agree with most that anything above £2k is optimistic for an auto... In the depths of winter. Low mileage means the engine could be sludged up and the boot lid is £300+ to get welded properly if you haven't got a mate in the trade.

Yeah, I saw those. I meant ones of the strut tops and sills. If I was looking I'd have the rocker covers off too.

    Cleanhands does have a point.

To truly demonstrate that it is a clean car, pics showing the paperwork that provides provenance, pics of the engine bay including the strut tops, pics of the underside including the sills and rear arches, interior pics (sans cushions ) and close-ups of the wheels will all help to sell the car.

Looks good apart from the boot, although as Jonny says pics of the sills, engine bay and strut tops will help no end, GLWTS

I am in Essex near Southend. I only have a camera phone so its hard to get decent photos of the arches but I will give it a go. It is for sale for
£2500 ono not £3000. Thanks lhassall for posting the pics.

If you can drive the car, bring it along to the next Essex meet and I'll take photos with my camera and even do you a little write-up on the condition of the car.

You don't have to get involved in the Man vs Burrito challenge

    http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.p...Man-Vs-Burrito

Alternatively, if you can get it to my house in Chelmsford one evening or weekend, I can do the same.

    Oops.

Well, I was all set to do my good deed but I've had to ask Daz to stand-in for me at the last minute. He'll be coming along to give it the once over for you and take some pics of the "interesting bits" on the car. As a pro photographer he'll take shots 1Billion times better than me anyway.

My plans got blown out of the water at the last minute as my wife has taken ill with some sort of nasty bug so I've had to take over "Mum" duties and look after the kids.

    Sorry about that

    ...and, Daz, Thank you mate
