Good cars but I'm a bit of a badge snob and couldn't turn up to work in a rover

shame, the ZS is a cracking car, good fun to chuck about and the old mechanical pump diesel is good for abit of tuning and is solid as a rock, your budget would get a late facelift and leave change, or a ZT with the bmw diesel, again good car

Looks like VAG is the way forward for you mate

On the LPG front, I found it to be a complete pain in the arse to be honest. It's a great idea in principal, but for the convenience factor I'd rather a diesel for the ability to rock up to any forecourt and guarantee a fill up without any pissing about.

Just my experience but the relatively minor saving / no saving at all over a decent diesel means I won't be trying it again

I test drove an Audi A3 2.0 TDi sport with DSG paddle shift gearbox the other week, and it was surprisingly nippy. Think the seller was asking £4200, but it was damn tidy and on a 54 plate IIRC.

    The wife didn't like it
