    My M

Seeing as I've had a project thread for every other car I've Owned that's worth mentioning I might as well have one for the M

It's a 2003 with just over 68000 miles on the clock. its not the highest spec but that doesn't bother me.

    Pics

    Short term plans
    Black kidney grills
    Black side grills
A pair of the 9.5j OE 19,s p/c for the fronts to run a square setup
    Some interior bling from storm

    Long term plans
    Coilovers
    Brakes
    Front lip of some description.

    Wish list
    CSL airbox
    Remap

I think you ll be pleased with the purchase dude. I really like mine, apart from keeping the bugger clean

    As far as mods go
Redish are developing a suspension set up for these, blistein coilover solution with spring set up to match. not ready yet i said I would nt but I think I will.
pretty pleased with the k sports I put on,

That storm stuff is very nice!

cutters did a group buy on Geoff steel csl style boxes all in with the remap about 1700. Gulp! Csl box, 3k double gulp

Wish you all the best with it chap. cant think of a better all rounder. Does love the fuel though!

I haven't felt like I've connected with it so far but then it hasn't really been 'driven' yet.

I'll keep an eye out for the redish setup.

Just plain lmfao at the intake upgrade costs for these things

Best colour with the best colour interior in my opinion. Nearly bought a convertible the same as this about a month ago but couldn't justify the £1200 insurance costs!

    Sweet .

If I can get enough interest in rig shots then I might take the plunge and buy a 6m rig which will be even better . Doing some night light painted shots would be cool for that.

Is a lovely car mate. Very jealous, you know how much I'd love one! Hell, I'd settle for a car that starts at the moment

Hopefully you will click with it when you've had a chance to get used to it

Few more miles down now and I'm amazed at the different characters this car had

It's so happy cruising round town. Docile, unassuming, quiet.

Push the sport button and it's as before, just a bit more of something.

Dsc off and setting 6 and it just lets loose. Everything seems so much sharper and more frantic. I really need to get used to paddle shift again

Really think I made the right decision. 2 kids go in the back real easy, 2 adults is a bit of a faff but I don't really care as I'm not one of them

Glad you're enjoying it mate, that's pretty much my experience of mine too. Genuinely don't regret going SMG, it does add a bit of drama when you're seriously on it and going up and down the box in S6, especially the throttle blips on downshifts with a noisy exhaust
