Like the new rims, seen a few on the Ignis forum with the OEM wheel but with spacers, and its transforms the look, I must say. I do like the OEM wheels in white.

The standad rims deffo need spaced out! I even thought that when I had my first one way back in 2004.

Just back from a local scrappy.
They have a blue ignis sport in. So went for a gander as I was looking for a new carpet, since mine is all torn. Pic on eBay showed the car as still whole.
But when I got there was missing the front seats, alloys and front bumper.

Want to know why it was scrapped? The lass that owned it had lost the keys! It was still taxed and tested when it went in!

So I got the carpet, wind deflectors, interior light for my mums Ignis and a rear bumper with a couple of scuffs.

For the grand total of £55!
Going back tomorrow as the handle on the boot snapped off in my hand when I got home!

Also fitted some Osram night breaker plus bulbs, hell of a difference!

Well today was interior swap and boot hatch swap day.
Started at 10:30 and finished just before 5. Just as well TBH as we lost all light at this point!

First job get the centre console out of the way, nice and east job this one. And then unbolt the seats. Does not take long TBF.

After this was take out the relavent interior trim to remove the carpet. So this was the sill plastics and the bit at front of the door, Along with the cover for the sterring column joint.
You also need to pop the bottom of the rear quarter as well to get the carpet out, unbolt the rear bench and unbolt the seat belt.

Once this is all done the carpet just lifts out with no problems
At this point me found out that my car has been owned by a joiner at some point we reckon, as there were nails everywehere!!

We kinda decided at this point juust to take the back seats out as well and just give the whole inside a damn good clean down! As well as shampooing the rear bench.
    Stripped car.

TBH Once the car was all stripped down I did not do very much. I left my mate to it. He is a valeter.
My new seats were from a breaker. SO had to be cleaned up properly. So was the new carpet. Both were covered in glass and mud. He spent ages getting it all cleaned up properly.
    Before

    During

    After and fitted

Also removed the plastic strips from the roof and cleaned beneath these.

Also replaced today was the boot hatch.

Everything is working as it should appart from the boot lock! So going to have to investigate thsat one.
No pics of the new one fitted.

Few pics of the floor pan after my mate got it cleaned up.

Couple of pics of things going back in. No many though as we completely ran out of light.

Oh and comical 4x4 ride height with no interior in the car haha.

Well my package from Limitless Imports arrived today.
    https://www.facebook.com/limitlessimports

Arrived in under a week from dispatch in Osaka.
In it was a cusco strut brace, cusco lower brace 1, cusco adjustable panhard rod. And monster sport poly bump stops, so I don't need to cut mine when I lower it.

I was £329 delivered for all of this! Which is way under what any uk supplier could get it for!
I was then £71 in import duty and Clarence fee. So £400 on the dot pretty much. Still a massive saving over any uk supplier. Cheapest I could see was £480, and that did not include the bump stops.

Matt at limitless was brilliant to deal with. And I thoroughly recomend him. He is based in Wales.

    Alloys arrived
    15x8 et20

To be shod in 195/50/15 Toyo T1R's. Got a bargain at £142 delivered for the 4!

New front speakers as the standards were not up to much. Not bad for £15

Got the Cusco Lower Arm Bar Ver 2 to go along with Ver 1 that I already had.

Along with the Whiteline rear ARB. Which is much heavier than I expected!

I also have the Whiteline camber bolts for the front of the car as well.

Car was also treated to a Machine polish as well. Really took out alot of the scratches.

Cheers Ste. Thought you would like this update.
Haha parts are not easy to come by for this. I've just been lucky.

My mate has my alloys and is putting some kind of nano protecting stuff on them to help keep Em clean.

    Hehe I'm sorry.
Looking into doing an ITB conversion on the car also.

Awesome I'll keep an eye out for that.

Slapping a turbo on would be by far the cheapest option.
But I just love the sound ITB'S make. And much more responsive.

    Ok update time.
    Today has been productive.
Tyres Fitted to Alloys, and then fitted to car
    Cusco Strut brace fitted
    And smoked side indicators fitted.

    In the fitting centre.

    First two alloys on.

Difference between standard and my new 8j!

    Few pics of them on.

Cusco strut brace. Nice easy 15 minute job!

    And smoked side repeaters.

And all 3 in one shot

This made me chuckle. On the instructions for the strut brace.
