Fitting the new alloys made the car handle a lot better. Add the front strut brace and turn in is amazing.

Car is transformed and its night and day to before!

There are no clearance issues. And I'm going to drop 35mm on gaz coilovers. Could go lower. But I'm interested in handling. Not looks.
I have to decide on my rear drop before I order. As you can't get an actual coilover fir the rear. It's a shock and spring set up.

ON Friday I headed up to Driftland near Lochgelly with Wolfstar Pictures who were offering to fo rolling shots of the car.
I took them up on the offer and got these pics.

These were taken after my pal had given the car a full detail.

Well happy with how these have turned out.

Couple of new bits for the car.
Scorpion back box, I don't really like scorpion but it will do until I get a system built. I took it off of my breaker.

B pillar covers. I bought them from a main dealer for £27.

    Fli 12" self amped Sub.

    Got my coilovers delivered finally.

And also picked up a pair of Corbaeu Club Sports for £280. Side mounts and runners included. Need to get runners modified to suit though.

Here is my buckets tacked welded onto modified standard runners.
Only tacked so they could be trial fitted.
Off to be properly welded now.
Will need to paint the frames as well. They are sitting the same height as the standard seats.

GAZ gha Coilovers fitted today, along with the shortened poy bump stops for the rear, and adjustable panhard rod.
Car looks sweet. Handles amazingly well, and is so flat going round corners!

Started at about half 9 and finished at half 6.
Several rusted bolts caused delays. Had to angle grind one of the old rear shocks off of the car as well. Blooming nightmare lol.
And had to take some bolts off of my breaker and use those as well!

Had the front alloys off 4 times to adjust the ride height to get it right haha.

But got there in the end.

Well started stripping more of the car out, well my mate did as he knows I'm to lazy to put it back in myself haha.
At the same time we fitted the Bucket seats and Momo harnesses.
Pulled all 4 seatbelts out. The pretensioners weigh an absolute ton!

Custom grill has also been fitted. Very happy with the way it has turned out. Think it looks way better than the Mesh grills do.

Stripped rear interior and buckets. And a new sticker.
