JAPFEST 2013 / IDC ROUND 5 - MONDELLO PARK - SEPTEMBER 7th AND 8th

Well folks, that time of year is nearly here again.....JAPFEST!

As usual , Japfest will also incorporate the final round of IDC (round 5 ) on Saturday and Sunday with the actual Japfest show taking place on Sunday.

I have been in contact with the staff at Mondello but they still haven't finalised details for the weekend so I'm afraid I don't have much info for everyone yet.

However, we do intend to have a club stand as we do most years.

So who is / might be interested in being on the stand this year and who will be attending over the weekend ?

Great stuff! Im hoping we can rustle up a good few cars for this year as there seems to be plenty of s-bodies coming out of the woodwork.
Mondello have said it will be the week after next before they have proper details.

I know there will be a Saudi Arabian guy but hes only a guest-drifter I'd say! Met him at Gatebil, thats what he told me

Yup, it had 4 wheels on the ground last week!!
(Only for 20 minutes to move it to the other side of the shed, but still)

I contacted Mondello on Wednesday, they still haven't anything definite organised for Japfest. I have gave them my number and email address but I still havnt heard back from them. I will get onto them first thing monday morning.

I'm off to America this Sunday for just under 2 weeks so will miss Saturday but definitely going the Sunday, probably wont put my name down for the stand as I'v just put an Aero bumper on the S15 with a different colour so not sure if I can get it sprayed in time! Hope to see/meet alot of you there

Nice one! I wouldnt worry too much about the bumper colour, yours will still look better than alot of the ropey stuff that turns up during the show most years!

I should have a black Chargespeed front bumper on my own, and the rest of the car is Pewter, so we can park beside each other haha
