whats your best 1/4 mile?

I've never run my 200 on a 1/4 mile, I know my clutch wont slip and I can drop it pretty quick I just wonder how many hard launches till my gearbox strips its synchros and I end up sat like a lemon reving a broken gearbox watching the green christmas lights
My CTR ran a 13.9 which I was happy with at the time, not bad for a FWD scrabble wagon with crap budget front tyres

Would a 4.1 actually make a slower 1/4 mile assuming the extra gear change or even changes? Think im going for the 4.1 as when your at the wrong revs i feel like im waiting forever for boost, in 4th/5th i get 1 bar at 3k and 1.4bar at about 3.5k, sometimes i get traction in 2nd but always in 3rd

Surely theres more stage 3a cars on here thats done a 1/4 mile?

I think the main problem is not getting enough time in 4th gear.
Having a higher ratio will allow quicker acceleration and quicker gear changes.
May not help wheel spin though lol

I've had both the HD and extreme organic in my 14a's.

Hated the extreme for daily driving, organic coped well on mine both on track or drag.

My best was low 12's until i took a very experienced pro-street racing friend who set the car up with a little pos camber, soft springs and 20psi in some hi-profile 16" tyres!............Then taught me how to launch!

Specs please what kind of power/torque was you at?

I ran it on a GT35 at 27psi with a total disregard for mechanical sympathy

I had it set up to squirt in a 75shot at 3Krpm and then cut out again as soon as it spooled past 19psi, It was very effective!

Thats me done The run after the 11.6 the gearbox had a over heat and got loads of warning lights followed by going into limp mode before getting off the course then had to be recovered :S The dealer gave me a real hard time over that they didn't go with the I was just doing 40mph then it broke . £500 gearbox oil, engine oil change and a 20min on the computer it was back to normal

I took mine to york raceway in august just to see what it would run as i had just got it, not sure what stage its at as im new to the s-body scene but mods are front mount cooler, 1bar boost, standard injectors/turbo, lightweight flywheel and uprated clutch from skylinepart, divorced downpipe, decat with japspeed exhaust, stripped out interior, bucket seats, rocketbunny kit so bumpers wings and rear arches are fibreglass, 12j rear wheels with 265 rubber and no camber, ran a 13.5 @ 110mph and won the class, not bad for my first trip there in it, even got a little trophy handed to me at the lights.
