I managed 14.4 @104 with supposedly 297 and about 270ftlbs but the guy who set up my SAFC didn't really know what he was doing so i dont trust those figures at all. I'm still a novice and still learning how to launch properly! It's hard without killing my street tires and standard clutch. All my runs were at North Weald Airstrip in Essex.
In a toy like this. The ca I have today will only make it in about 10sec...
Some of the older members on here (skidz if I recall) managed to get under 13 seconds with only 280bhp!, but IIRC that was with lots of weight saving gains.
Richie and BigTone managed 11''s in their 600bhp + S13's.
200sx's are shite for launching, so when you check the 0-60flt times, they are bad... But once rolling, this is where the 200sx comes into it's own. 2nd/3rd/4th gears are simply amazing.
I never did a 1/4 mile run in my old S13, which is shame as I was running 23-25psi through a T3 turbo
You can setup an s14 to launch reasonably well, subframe inclination, damper settings and alignment all contribute.
When i did the 13.1 i had a 60f of 2.2 iirc, i did have RLTC/LC/FTS but didnt use it as it wasnt right at the time.
I rebuilt my s14 for 400hp and was hoping for a low 12 / high 11 with it and the electronics doing its stuff.
But isn't hd pretty much on limit even with your current torque?
And didn't you post a thread about getting more power just a week ago?
Oh and the extreme is not that heavy. I have it in my car and don't really even notice it...

I would still strongly recommend the Extreme.... I now have my fourth clutch in 2 years as everything has slipped....
Exedy Organic slipped from day one
Carbonetic blade slipped always if not properly warm
My current ACT Extreme pressure plate + Carbonetic Blade disc seems to finally do the job properly and has not slipped once
And really the pedal is not that stiff... At least when you get a braided clutch line and bin the damper loop...
Ive heard of damaged pedal boxes and new slave cylinders etc, not something i want to spend on, but isnt yours running alot more torque than mine
I have about 550nm of torque (1.9Bar peak boost). But I have carbon disc that is comparable to a sintered paddle disc in terms of torque handling, but you can slip it a bit. So it feels like an organic disc.
But if you want cheaper clutch Extreme pressure plate with organic disc would be good for you. Or you can go with the HD, but don't post a thread about how the SX sucks because your new clutch slips
As posted above my act hd organic is holding just shy of 400bhp/fit lbs and I've launched it at least ten times with the rltc now.
Never tried the extreme but its definitely an option if you want to stay safe.
1998 Nissan 200sx s14a , 2000 std 5 speed with nismo supercoppermix clutch bn6 Sapphire Blue
Organic is able to hold a shit load if treated well.. Lots more than its rated.
I would want one for the long run, i dont want a clutch that will only last 20/30k miles
I've had both the HD and extreme organic in my 14a's.
Hated the extreme for daily driving, organic coped well on mine both on track or drag.
Back on topic
Ran 13.6 at 109mph with 300bhp and 3deg of rear camber. The car was running 3A at the time but i didn't realise i had a major boost leak untill a rr session a few weeks later, should of realised as it didn't hit full boost till 4k and died off.
109 is pretty good speed, i would be happy with 115mph but dont know if im getting to carried away
I ran a 12.9 in my s14a at crail raceway. with 3.5deg camber on rear.
Run 330whp 337wft
terminal speed 115mph
I know I could pull a better time with the camber now fixed and my 4.3 ratio diff!
