What does this do?
Not a great picture
It's attached to the bracket that holds the alternator on. A pipe used to come off it and go up to the egr valve, I've removed the egr and just left with this

Bump this.
I've removed my egr valve today & want to know if I can remove this too.I can then remove loom plug & wiring as I'm stripping it my loom.

Bump again- I removed every trace of egr but haven't tried starting it up yet.

Its the egr and canister control solenoid valve.
The only vacuum line that is stil connected wil go to the intake plenum and will have to be blocked.
The other line would have gone to the carbon canister but it seems you have already removed it.
