Jatin, we need a few thigns from you

    1. Can you confirm your car is ready as soon as you can
    2. I don't know anyone with a spare helmet, is worth asking around but as there are none for hire on the day you'll need one, I'd look at LAze's thread think he got one for not a lot
    3. You'd need cheap tent etc to stay overnight
    4. also you'd have to renew membership before we can enter you

Great have added you to list.

We are trying to use the second ticket each driver gets to cover those offering to help out for the weekend.

I would put something better on but for one event it's not worth the cost in my eyes. Plus funds won't allow it.

scottie i replied to your pm via Facebook as my pm box is way too full - will renew membership on payday next thursday.

Daz - problem with out and out track tyres is that they require getting up to temp. before they work properly. the nature of the handling course at TOTB means that they never get up to temp. youre better off IMO with a really sticky pair of road tyres. its also a really rough concrete surface so poor tyres give more grip than you would expect.
i think you will be fine with what you have - from various trackdays there we actually found nankangs to respond really well at elvington

Also for those on coilovers that are running quite low/stanced - it would be worth looking at disconnecting/remving your roll bars and wind on as much front camber as you can (what i did last year to get grip). those with higher/softer suspension ie s-tunes should be ok.

ill be there all weekend to help out in the pits, and FMG is looking to come up as well for the weekend - sadly the v8 wont make it

Thanks Jon, yes we where saving a support vehicle pass and ticket for you.

I think EvoAnd needs his support vehicle pass for a tow car, but mine and AP2's are for the club van and your van.

The SXOC are paying for the drivers entry packs which includes two weekend and camping tickets, a competition car pass and support vehicle pass.

The drivers need a ticket each, and car pass, but we will then reallocate the second tickets to helpers who can camp in SXOC pit area and it gives access all weekend, and we'll try and make best use of support vehicle passes to get all vehicles we need into pits area.

    Team SXOC entered

    Just to update -

    1. The four drivers who where able to confirm car and driver ready by 1200 today, the cut off date for team entry, have been entered, that's EvoAnd, AP2, Scottie, Fishter1

    2. We need minimum 5 for a team, so next person to confirm car and driver ready (probably Jatin) is then entered.

    3. Daz is trying hard but struggling with his shaft problem, Andy083 is also very near having a car ready and hopefully Jamie can make it. Once these cars are ready Committee approves on a case by case basis and we enter. Issue is postal packs need sending out so we need to move quick.

    4. All the drivers and possibles (except Jatin and Jamie - can you please PM me your email address please) have had an update email what to expect, if you've not let me know.

    5. Cleanhands is bringing the SXOC van so we'll have access to marquee, cooking grills, frdige and generators etc to make it a more comfortable two days.

    6. We are going to need plenty of help, so thanks to those who have offered above. We have asked drivers to make available the support vehicle passes and second tickets where not required to get support team members in.

    7. Anyone driving or support team is able to be with us all day Saturday, camp overnight and Sunday. We will have food available etc, members attending on the day are welcome

    8. As I have now been drafted into driving duties we are especially going to need some help on the day, Cleanhands is looking after the SXOC area such as marquee, food etc, and Fake Ben will cover cars and Team pit area etc, if everyone could pitch it a little that would help us all out.

Sorry Scottie, the clutch is the only thing stopping me from entering my S15. I've bought it already but just need it fitting. TD need my car for the day but I'll struggle to get home after dropping it off and then getting back there to pick it up. PM'd you my email address though.

I've also fitted Splitfire coilpacks for better low end response.

    Just that damn clutch!

I'd explain the situation to Mike and ask can you wait for an hour or two why they fit it, worth a shot

Is your team sorted? Doc did speak to me about it but I completely forgot again until stumbling on the thread just now.
