Injectors

Howdy...

I managed to get myself a bit of a bargain on eBay (or so I thought) a set of four 444 injectors for 70 odd quid posted. They arrived today and one of the injectors is broken. Now on second glance in the pic you can see one is broke, so I will naturally take this up with the seller.

My question to you guys is... Does this bit need to be intact for everything to work ok, or will I get away with it???

I believe that piece is called the 'pintle cap'.
You need it as it helps atomize the spray from the nozzle.
If you keep them, your best bet is to find another injector and swap the cap over, or buy an injector overhaul kit.
