Massive list of high end parts from race winning S14a - many custom one off parts

AIt is much regret that I come to break The Hag. Based on a 1999 S14a she has been developed over the past 7 years into a race winner that consistently beats considerably more powerful cars. The engine was completely rebuilt in the past 2 months and barely run since then. The gearbox has only just been rebuilt using a 1st - 4th PPG dog clutch helical gearsets and has since done 2 hours testing and two race weekends.

We will start breaking the car next week but parts can be reserved if a deposit is paid

Z32 Gearbox with PPG 1st - 4th Helical Cut Dog Ring Gearset (Dog Box - no synchros) Ratios: 2.651 / 1.682 / 1.251 / 1.000 / Std. This box enables lightening fast clutchless gear changes. Just pre-load the gear lever, momentarily lift off the throttle and the gearstick will bang into the next gear in less than a second! This is an immensely strong gearbox that will take up to 600 Bhp without breaking a sweat (just look at the size of the gears!). Only 3.5 hours running time since built (£5464 new!) SOLD

Take a look at the video below for a demonstration of the box in action:

Should probably mention that the engine was massively down on top end power due to an experimental turbo restrictor plate but at least it shows we've run the engine and box unstressed since the rebuild!

Gearset and billet gear selector forks just before being fitted

Custom Shell with hauuuge weld in roll cage triangulated to front turrets, seam welded throughout, custom exhaust exiting through rear 3/4 panel. I bought this car with 46,000 miles in September 2006 LINK TO ORIGINAL ADVERT with no rust, accident damage etc. then took it off the road in October to start the build. It has since only ever run on track with no exposure to salt and general road grime, so it remains completely rust free and in A1 condition (for a race car!). The Shell has tubbed front arches and aluminium boot floor to accommodate a 60l fuel cell. Includes extra wide rear fenders (well over 100mm wider than standard) and custom aluminium side skirts with support frame for flat floor £1,500 - Now Sold

    From original build:

    VOLK CE28N 18 x 9.5 ET22 5x114 forged wheels (x4 = £2,460 new!) £1,500 including repaint in your colour of choice

    Rays Gramlights 57D 18 x 9.5 ET12 x 1 wheel in orange (£321 new) £100

    Rays Gramlights 57D 17 x 9 ET 22 x3 wheels in orange (£1,100 new) £300

Please note: All of the above wheels do not come with tyres. All wheels are straight with no kerbing. The paint has been chipped in places as these wheels have been used for racing and the luminous orange paints don't seem to cure all that hard. If you are planning on using these on a road car, you may wish to get them repainted and lacquered.

    Federal Z201 Tyres (255/45 R18 x2 265/40 R18 x2) £400

Custom OBP brake pedal box that replaces servo set up with twin AP master cylinders and brake bias bar £350

Custom extra wide front wings with vents (may be sold with shell) £120 - Now Sold

Custom Front Bumper with intercooler shroud £100 - Now Sold

    Fibreglass Rear Bumper £50

    Custom aluminium rear diffuser £100

Uprated coil packs (similar to Splitfire, can't remember what they're called!) £150

Fibreglass bonnet with 4 pins and extra cooling panels £70 - Now Sold

Quick release steering Rage wheel boss (steering wheel not included) Sold

Hi chap, apologies that wasn't as clear as it could be. This doesn't include the wheel itself, just the boss and quick release unit itself.

    Thanks,
    Jason

Hi, not at this stage as I've not yet posted the ad to Driftworks. May change me mind later though

Will need to measure it at the weekend but I would assume at least +100. The rear of the wings no longer sit flush with the doors to vent air trapped in the front arches down the side of the car. So these really aren't for road use!

It's a bulk head mount that simply replaces the old servo and master cylinder with a twin M/C and bias bar setup using the original brake pedal. You even retain the standard clutch and throttle assemblies which are well spaced for heel and toeing. Can't tell you how many hours it took trying to get a pedal box fitting comfortably into the 200's footwell (Tilton, AP, OBP, none worked, so we got OBP to make this brake only setup for us). This was easily the most effective upgrade we made to the car in terms of lap time! Way more feel and progression than the old overservoed horribleness that occurred when we first removed the abs.
