Costco have them in at the moment, also some really beefy axle stands for £15 notes.
The Costco ones are around £90 - I spotted them last time I was in and was sorely tempted

My 'weak' alloy jack completely flattened the jacking points on my mates new fiesta.

I thought I'd made a massive mistake, but double checked the car manual and not only was I bang on the jacking point but in the manual there was a picture of a trolly jack under said jacking point

Modern cars have shit jacking points made from cheese. They only work with the stock jack as they support the sill and stop it folding. Trolly jacks should never be used on any sill unless they have a wooden block with a slit cut in it to help do the same.

I have one of the cheap ally jacks from eBay and its brilliant. No complaints here at all.

I've just bought a hockey puck to replace my (very old) block of wood

That looks remarkably similar to mine that I only paid less than £90 notes for posted from eBay.

Looks like you may have paid the extra driftworks tax.

I got my Lift Master led

It's a great little jack, feels well built, sturdy, led is genuinely handy lining up the jacking point as it's quite a direct light. light and small enough to carry to drift days with a handy handle and on board jack handle/wheel tool with 4 sizes in sockets, saves taking a breaker bar.

One issue though, it's too short to jack from the diff which is exactly what I wanted to use it for, no big deal as I can just simply return it.
Except I went and done this before trying to use it:

It doesn't stand out in the pic due to the light.
So, anybody want to buy this unused jack from me?
    I'm being serious!

I'm currently trying to return mien for the same reason
TBH it seems pretty much the same as my old Clarke one, but the saddle dips lower. I guess I didn't really look at the dimensions before ordering, but that's what happens when you are buying tools at 4AM with a sniffling 3 month headbutting your clavicle

I think I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and buy something 'proper', and stop being cheap.

Yet another 'VAT Free' at Machine Mart - anyone used one of these?

Tick all the boxes, for £100 seems like a good bet Looks like a sturdier, steel version of the ally one

I have one of these for the Landy

cant really fault it qualitywise so if all their jacks are the same standard it should be ok.
