Carpet steam cleaning

I need to steam clean the carpet and seats on 2 cars.

Anyone done this? Any tips? Do's anmd don'ts

Anyone recommend any good car compatible (i.e like a vaccum cleaners nozzle) and where i can I hire them from as im not looking to buy?

Don't get carried away with doing too much in one go, heat + moisture in excess won't do any materials any good. You'd be better off doing it lightly several times, allowing a drying time in between each clean. A lot like painting really I guess
