Comics / graphic novels - recommendations please...

I haven't read any comics for a while, but been listening to some podcasts that have me in the mood for some. Last time I had a hankering for comics, I read lots of Batman, some Superman and all of The Walking Dead that had been released then...

I've just downloaded Kick Ass 1 & 2, Scott Pilgrim 1 - 6, Superman Red Son and all of Sandman, so that'll take a while to get through. Not too bothered what the subject is, as long as it's a cracking story.

    Any recommendations?

Watchmen, though only if you like thought-provoking.

The ballad of Halo Jones is a good read and Preacher is also a good read.

    Thanks for the suggestions all

I've just finished reading Y: The Last Man, thoroughly enjoyed it. Just started in on Powers, but finding it slow going at the moment.

Will be giving some of the suggestions above a go soon
