So bodywork all done. Couple of jobs still to do but here is the start on the new look

Rust all gone and stickers off the sides for more low profile sleeper approach

Still to do, a few things, including a damn good clean and polish to finish the paint match. Might get some knocked off tomorrow

Thanks Andy. The little fella is getting there. Really needs the rims painting I want to get some wind deflectors to visually lower the roofline but the are mega money and with MOT and insurance upon us they will have to wait.

About to go whip the grille out see what it looks like

    Painting??
No offence, but they're pretty gash.

Get some new rims on there, drop it onto some BBS RS style rims with some shiny dish

Got talked into some Grid Vs by Ben. Started saving up. Then priorities changed thanks to a dose of redudancy from work. So they get painted black. I know they're gash. But black gash is more invisible than silver gash

Wind deflectors do a good job of lowering the roofline. Works wonders on the ignis!

Yeah I am thinking that with a 2 or 3 inch plain black sunstrip should improved the loftyness of the YRV no end Just a set of 4 is big bucks

Aye thats the cheapest I have seen them

I tried to get the grille out last night. Turned into a battle with daft plastic screw then removing the grille to find the bumper underneath is not painted and grey plastic

So that will be revisited soon with something to make it black

    Failed the MOT

So on go new discs and new springs....may as well upgrade

Springs custom made for a sirion rally from a dude on the Daihatsu owners group. More comfy and lower. Has sorted handling issues too. Sweet

Thanks to Lowslow for hooking me up with some better hoops and rubber

Kinda weird that Team Dynamics et38 is 2mm higher offset than BK Racing's et38 So the backs have are no spacered out to et34, if et38 is indeed et38. Needed it to clear the arms

They just need a clean up and some chips filling in. Or if I can't live with the white spraying black
