    That was my thoughts too, sounds like they have been called away in action as it seems strange to abandon a car like that. Can't there name be traced through the raf?

    Apply for the logbook. Even if the owner does turn up, its surely better than it being scrapped!?

    Be worth speaking to the swo and investigating it yourself as the RAF police are about as helpful as a chocolate fire guard! They have just recently had a clear out at Coningsby and all ended up being used by the fire section for training before scraps ville Arizona..

    IIRC the guys who car it was got called out for duty and one of his mates was meant to go pick it up….and forgot. Pretty sure he's on here I remember another thread about it, from the memory slip a lot of bits and bobs were stolen as expected to be honest
