I have been playing this for a long time now, up to level 26.

In case people dont know, select Homer to get the jobs menu up, dont choose a job, instead tap on homer as he walks around 10 times and you will get 10 free donuts and a secret Jebadiah statue to place.

Also, personally speaking, I save all my free donuts till I get 15, then use them to buy a Homer Buddah as you get a premium item every time. Gotton Hans Moleman and Squeeky Voiced Teen that way.

Oh and also, when you get Cletus' Farm, I continually plant Triffids as you get hundreds of XP for it, allowing you to level up much quicker.

Donus are like the premium currency. You get the odd one when you level up, the odd one when you get homer or Lisa to clean up, however you do not get many overall for free. Basically it's like a tease to get you to buy them for real money via an in app purchase. I have been playing for about 5 months, never spent real money and it has been fine.

I downloaded this ages ago on iPad and it still won't work! Really want to play it but i always get a fail when I try to connect to the server

I believe it was closed as a loophole in the last update that went out.

EDIT: The Power off trick still works though
