Over boosting!

I have my 1st problem with the s13! lets hope it doesn't start a chain reaction!

Appears recently to be over boosting

I am using an Apexi AVCR and have noticed my boost peak has rose recently

it should be set at 1.2 bar and my peak used to be 1.26 max

recently i have been achieving 1.36 and today 1.43

anyone got any ideas?

using a GT28r turbo so don't really want it boosting these figures!

First thing I'd do is bypass the solenoid and see if it still overboosts when the actuator is plugged directly to the take-off.

Ok once i get the car back (having a few bits sprayed at the mo) i'll give that a try!

May of found the problem, got a very slight clutch slip when putting my foot to the floor soon after changing gear and possibly at the end of each gear, now i'm after a good quality clutch that can handle upto 350hp, i'm running 300 now but i wanna squeeze some more in the near future
