Oh, not as new as I thought, but thats new compared to what I've been looking at! Is it V8? What sort of economy does it get?

yes its a 5.3 v8 vortec 300bhp. book mpg is 22 thats us gallons. we have a bmw 745i and i would say its better than that on juice

the older 5.7's are usually worse on fuel as there carb or single point injection (vortecs are multipoint injection). we had a 1992 silverado a few years back, 15 mpg was average for that

    Wow thats pretty good!

I'm looking for a mid '80s crew cab dually with 454. Dad had a non dually version and the best we'd get was 18mpg on a run.
