    180sx SR20SET screamer help

    Have decided to buy one but have found one on the turbo elbow, does anyone have one of these? are they any good?

    They are shit.

    They just sound like a blowing exhaust. If you want a screamer pipe fit a proper external wastegate with screamer.

    A proper external wastegate set-up. All the elbow ones are terrible

    As above. Really really don't even try one of those elbows as none of them work properly.

    Get the manifold off. And have an eternal gate flange welded to it and bored through into the collector.
    Then something like a 38mm gate will work brilliantly if you weld up the stock flapper in the turbo or replace the actuator with a solid rod.

    Oh and finally ask yourself why you want one. I'd say its only about a month until reality kicks in and you realise that screamers sound shit and revert it all back to standard ha.

    I run one but I'm not 30+ and boring lol
    I put one on for a laugh and it was a laugh for a short while now it's anoying me

    will take advice as decided to not get one.

    I also have a decat silencer on at the moment and exhaust sounds far to quiet, is there much of a differance if i bought the jap speed. what one is better?

    No real difference in any mate. Just get the one that suits your needs. If you already have a good down pipe get the cat replacement flexi. If you have a stock down pipe get the all in one replacement.

    thanks mate, mines stock so will prob getthe decat down pipe.
