I actually did like them when they came out, thought they were quite a good looking motor for a vauxhall. Just my ownership/experience of other vauxhalls put me off ever wanting one

Lol, I'd have a Renault 21 turbo quadra before I'd have a Calibra tbh. Yours looks fresh though, well done for keeping it in such good condition

I loved the calibra's owned 2 of them myself. Sadly rust worm gets them and also the turbo 4wd system was always a troublesome idea which probably led to a lot of them being broke up

    Heh.

I have an inbuilt dislike for everything with a Vauxhall badge, but really like Calibras (especially the pre-facelift with letterbox grill).

Seem so rare now that I get quite excited when I see one.

my mate used to say they were a cavalier in a superman outfit , however not a bad looking car. A guy 3 doors down has a turbo and a mint silver GTE Astra. I not seen the astra move don't think he ever takes it out just seems to rev it??? but i have seen the calibra out an about on occasion.

They are very rare now,see the odd 2.0i non turbo or V6 calibras,I think they were a lot dearer so people went with the cheaper version and a few ended up in nova's
They were a good car in the day,and your's is looking very nice especially in white
their down fall aside from the rear arches rust issues was the recalls for the transfer box doing weird things as it was an electronic controlled hydraulic system that switched to 4wd when fronts started to spin or some thing like that
still nice to see a good one these days, hide it away if you can
