Don't bring me into this, I have no interest in going to chavshow, sorry I mean japshow. It's the same scoobys every year, the same tack shops for car parts, and the same saxo/corsa chav doing hand brake turns in the field during the night.
The only decent thing about pod is dwyb.

I'm afraid I can't post what I really think, hey ho
Im sorry? The "gestapo" as you put it are running a club here, with various costs and expenses, insurances to maintain and a system for doing things. This event is 3 months away, theres plenty of time to get things together - if theres a decent interest then we can bring the marquee, barbecues, discos and stuff but thats not a decision that can be made overnight.

Perhaps youd like to take on what our events organisers do, maybe you want to step up and put the hours and hours of work that go into planning the weekender, or stand at a gate for 3 hours to make sure no-one is pulling a fast one coming in for free, or hang around longer than anyone else to clear everyones shit up and make sure we keep a good name for the club? Maybe you want to shoulder the potential liability if something does go badly wrong?

Course you wont, because the same as most people, youre happy enough taking but quick as anything to start bitching. Nice to know everything we do is appreciated.

Got to admire your enthusiasm dude, but as per my previous post we cant just make decisions overnight. Cleanhands is going to get in touch with the S15OC, and then we will start lugging it on here - Im quite happy to share a stand but as Ive said above, if the numbers warrant it we have a lot of additional equipment we can bring

We are currently organising a weekender at Anglesey, Duxford event, Japshow, Ring trip and Le Mans trip so this isnt top priority, particularly not with the timescale weve got to play with but we do need to start seeing if theres any interest, once we know how many are interested then we can decide what we are doing with it

Err I beg your pardon lol!
The mods have allways been referred to as the gestapo,as you well know.
As for your opinion of me,well funny as fook.
Do you know me? becaause you, nor anyone else has ever cleared my shit up.

I'm sorry but you are wrong to slap down a member you obviously don't know. Just because someone isn't club staff doesn't mean they don't do their do their bit for the club. Jeff does what ever he can to promote the club and help out locals where possible and he isn't the only one. We do appreciate what work goes into running the club but if anything comments like the ones in the above post show that sometimes the club doesn't appreciate what some of its members do for the club.

The post did come across as very negative towards the club admin tbh. I've been a member on here for years and have never known of the staff go be known as the gestapo, Mark is however known as Hitler so can see the connection

The part that will get people's backs up is the "I can't say what I really think" line. That did very much come across as a swipe at the club staff

Spice_weazle I'm sure I can say for all of the forum staff that we don't underestimate how much some of our membership does for the club and it's members

If someone is going to describe me as "the gestapo" and somehow suggest he cant say what he "really thinks" Im going to react to it. Its great that people are putting effort in but when I see that type of negativity what am I supposed to think? I might have got the wrong end of the stick and genuinely apologise if thats the case but that appeared to be a snydey attack on the club which is uncalled for IMO.

A lot of people put a lot of time an effort in to try and make this club as good as it can be, obviously corfublue included, and it sometimes gets taken for granted a bit. Im sorry if Ive offended anyone but I can get a bit fiery about it sometimes

    Good for you then.

nissan_s15, cleanhands has tried to contact the organisers to sort out what we need to do but as yet we still havent had a reply. Chasing is occurring.

    Hey guys,

A quick update on the situation. I am still awaiting feedback from SXOC in regards to a shared show stand, but the good news is that the S15 Owners Club is now officially booked in on tarmac. Which is listed on the Japshow website.

If anyone else is interested in attending this event, then please let SXOC know asap, as we need at least 10 people for this show stand to happen.

    Regards

    Ash

Cheers cleanhands, your help is much appreciated as always. No rush buddy on the thread, just put it up when your ready to, I know how busy life can get sometimes, what with work and family lol.

And Ron200sx, if you can make it, then that would be fantastic. The more the merrier.
