Japshow 2013 - Santa Pod Race Track - Sunday 30th June

Hey everyone,

After sundays disappointing showstand at the fast show, due to terrible weather.

I thought it might be time to try and redeem our stand this June at the Japshow. Hopefully with fantastic weather to follow & no mud

As usual, tarmac is available at this point in time, but again its first come first served and 10 people with cars are required to attend to secure a stand.

The event is being held at santa pod race track on sunday the 30th of June and tickets in advance are £12.00 (If you attend in a Japanese car) or £17 (If you attend in a non-Japanese car)

Loads of events happening, including stunt shows, festivals and drag racing. £20 for 4 runs on the track!

A few of us form SXOC and S15 owners club are interested in going, but it would be really great if we could get loads of people for this show stand and make it one of the best Jap car days out ever!!!

Awesome guys, cheers for your attendance. We now have 9 people confirmed for the event. Only 1 more needed to book the tarmac show stand at santa pod.

It would be nice if you showed some courtesy to the club and its staff by actually contacting the local rep first so he can help organise and see if there is interest instead of just gate crashing and using our members to fill your own stand

Ok wow, I did not expect that sort of response. I was only trying to organise a social activity, where we could all meet, socialise and talk about our cars, I wasnt trying to take over.

I do apologies that I did not contact a forum member, but to be fair, I was never made aware of this in the first place.

You know you could have worded that in a way, which wasn't so hostile.

If it was my forum I would have just said, "hey buddy please could you contact us first prior to starting event threads, cheers".

If i was being hostile you wouldnt be here anymore

and as for never being made aware, you was told to contact a rep the last time you tried to organise a stand so that line doesnt wash 'buddy'

how do you know we havent already planned to have a stand there?

If an S15OC official could contact our local rep (cleanhands) we can look at organising a joint stand

We are a friendly bunch here but we dont like pisstakers or people who take advantage

We also like some control over any stand arranged in the clubs name as we have a reputation to think about and obviously dont want that being tarnished. (not saying it will be but we dont even know you and you dont even seem that well established on S15OC)

Contact cleanhands and get something sorted

I appreciate that I may have overlooked the fact that I needed to contact you or one of the other admins to post this event thread and for that I apologies.

But dont you agree that everyone makes mistakes from time to time, both you and me.

No one is perfect, so sometimes you have to show some leeway towards others and lets be honest writing that I was gate crashing and taking your forum members for "my stand" just makes it sound like Im the bad guy, which isn't the case here.

By all means if you have already organized a show stand for this particular event then please link me and I will go with you guys. Im not bothered who organizes it, I was only trying to meet new people who share the same interests.

And in regards to the s15 owners club, events listed on there, rarely get much interest.

No hard feelings mate, I dont want to fall out with anyone on here

Join the club and you are more than welcome to be on any of our club stands (we have a big one at Japfest in May

Hey everyone,

Not heard back from the admins yet for this event, but I just thought I'd let you know that the s15 owners club has booked a stand for the japshow and on tarmac. So if the sxoc does give the go ahead for a joint stand, then your all more than welcome to join us.

If the admin could please get in touch with me asap or the s15 owners club in regards to this event, that would be really helpful.

If youve had no joy from cleanhands then Pm the big show mate, hes staff on here and pretty much lives next to pod.
