Looks like I've cured the misfire for the time being, but haven't took it on a long run yet, could be a high engine bay temps thing.

All I did was gap the plugs down to 0.7mm from 1mm, clean a couple of earths and poke about various ignition components with a multimeter lol.

Decided I'd give her a half arsed clean, have a quick spin to dry the undersides & take some half arsed pictures at home whilst the sun was out...

You'll notice the steering wheel has changed, that's the Nardi Deep Corn I've had in the S14A and RX7. Vast improvement over the scabby GTR wheel. New ARC filter in the top too, less said about that the better, seeing as I've broke the box in the process. I'll fix that at a later date!

Started drinking in the garden, couldn't stop looking at how the fogs didn't flow with the car. So they came off in a matter of seconds...

No updates because of various lame excuses such as work & my ballbag of a Honda Accord not being sold yet. However, I'm bored staying up to prepare for a weekend of nights, so have some half ass Black & White images...

Is your favourite phrase 'half ass'? You've said it about 8,000 times

It looks great! So glad you removed the fog lights, looks infinitely better. I would absolutely adore one of these!

Daft question; do you know what the stickers are on the windscreen? My S15 has the same kind of thing and I'm assuming it's either to do with the auctions or the ferry. Just noticed them on your GT-R and wondered if you knew anything about them.

Great car, white isn't a colour I tend to associate with R32s but it looks smart!

It's to do with the Shaken test, my Silvia still has a scabby one from before it came over here in '99

The square one is the government issued shaken sticker (Japan's MOT) which lasts 2 years. The round one is issued by garages apparently, and you don't actually need it.

So, I've been having an intermittent issue with the car. Consult cable came through today, and after a few hours getting it all to work on my mac, I found this. Just need to find 2 MAFs to test now.

The plan today was simple, take the MAFs off, see how clean they are, take lids off and see if the circuit board solder had dried out, attempt to resolder. I kind of made everything worse. Due to the design of the ARC induction box, one MAF isn't accessible without ripping lots of stuff out of it. So, I decided to unbolt the box instead, loosen the hose clamp right off, unclip it, and it should slide out.

How wrong was I? Well, I took the ARC to the face, and left the MAF behind in the hose...

Looks like I need at least 1 MAF now, and no doubt I'll kill the other one trying to resolder it, such is my lack of talent in that department. All I can do is laugh.

On the plus side, the MAFs look pretty clean.

Because they need a refurb and probably a colour change, plus I don't want them on with arch gap.

That is a very clean and tidy R32, the ones I usually see are sheds unfortunately.
